Zoo Ave (a fantastic rehabilitation zoo...in fact the only place in Costa Rica you are guaranteed to observe the elusive quetzal!) and later on, lunch at an excellent Italian restaurant they have discovered and want to share the experience! Time: Meet Up at 8:30 am at Cafe Delicias in SR for carpooling/caravaning. Passengers, please give driver 1,000 c towards gas.
The Events: Arrive at Zoo Ave a little after 9 am.

Cost: Admission to Zoo Ave with CR Driver's License or Cedula is 3,900 c; 3, cfor Over Age 65 Gold Card Holders; 7,500 c for Turistas Then La Focaccia --this is an upscale lunch! Let's pretend we're rich and famous! Menu items 6,000 - 11,000 c, but Barbara and Doug say it is well worth it!
