Oh, yes! Let's go see some interesting artwork at the newly remodeled Costa Rica Art Museum in Sabana Park! And, of course, lunch! Thank you to our friend Randi Killean for coordinating this outing!

Date: Tuesday, May 17, 2011

The Schedule: Get off the bus right at Sabana Park, leisurely stroll through the art museum (IT'S FREE!), then walk a couple of blocks to Rosti Pollos, for the uninitiated, that's fabulous roasted chicken, big menu, reasonable prices, then share a cab back to the Directo Bus Station in SJ (about 2500 c total) and ride the bus back to San Ramon. We're anticipating being back around 3:30 pm.

Questions? Email Randi at randean96@gmail.com or call her at 8801-3163.

Meet Up Event: Dinner at Olga's!

It's time to try out the new Olga's Place Restaurant! For those of you who have ever passed the big Windmill (El Molino) Restaurant on the autopista west of San Ramon, you know that it has recently changed hands...

The new owners are Olga and Joe, residents of San Ramon who have lots of experience owning restaurants in New Jersey...and if you can make the folks in NJ happy, you must be doing something right! As native Jersey-ites ourselves (state motto: "What's it to ya?"), we recognize good burgers and fries when we see them! Lots of other great stuff on the menu, reasonable prices, full bar. Come on out for an early dinner!

Date: This Wednesday, May 11, 2011

Time: Meet Up at 4:30 pm

Place: Olga's Place Restaurant

Directions: About 1 km west of the San Ramon Mall, pass the gas station, and keep your eye out for a huge yellow windmill on your left!

See you there!
